::Artistic Vision Round#1::
Challenge #1: Cy

The first challenge is simple. Make a doll of the site mascot, Cy. Who is this Cy? Well, she's the girl sitting on the top left hand corner of the layout, the one with the rainbow hair and Asian-esque clothing... she's also the one sitting on top of the logo on the index page. Cy has several different outfits, so you can pick the one you want, or you can design your own. There are several things that must be kept though, and those are:

To keep things simple for you I have made a character sheet page with pictures so you can have references.

Challenge #2: Traditional Outfits

For Challenge #2 you must make a doll that is wearing a traditional outfit from your country/culture of choice. Any outfit that is not modern is allowed. Try not to do oriental outfits, there are other countries/nations/cultures with interesting traditional clothes. If you must do an Asian outfit, try to do something different, like instead of a kimono make a traditonal Japanese wedding dress. Any country/culture is allowed, from ancient Greece to North American Indian to Punjabi to a French can-can dancer. If you need some inspiration, try doing a google search. Barbie Collectibles also has some great dolls. But, no copies! All dolls must be original, I don't want to receive an entry whose outfit came directly from a Barbie doll, that is copyright infringment towards the designer of the doll.

Challenge #3: Art Nouveau

Fairly simple. Make a doll inspired by an art nouveau artist. My favorite artist is Alphonse Mucah, for example, and I have made a dolls, Automne (found in the fantasy page) that is inspired by his painting "Les Saisons" (The Seasons). There are many art nouveau (or "modern art" for those that know it that way) artist besides Mucha, this was a style that manifested itself mostly in arquitecture, so you can also be inspired by that. By inspired I mean that it's not a direct copy, be inspired by the colors or the shapes or the way that something was done, but don't do a direct copy. For this challenge, I will require a link to the source of your inspiration, to be sure that if follows the rules.
